Fourth Tuesday Lent, 2020

So the bread turned out good. Well, not bad at least, it’s pretty good. It’s especially good when it’s toast. Now, the word for toast in Italian is “tost”, and it’s kind of a hilarious word. They have this thing at McDonalds in Italy called a “McTost”…now I’m not promoting going to McDonalds when you are in Italy, every restaurant and person’s kitchen has incredible food, but, at McDonalds they have this great thing called a McTost. A McTost is two hamburger buns flipped around so the round puffy parts are on the inside and they put one piece of prosciutto and one piece of cheese and put it in a panini press…seems simple (word of the day) but it’s so good for some reason. Speaking of Italy, I’m including this great video Fr. Victor’s mom found. The Italian people are bearing some of the worst of this virus, but they are a beautiful people.

Thanks

Stay safe and God bless,

Fr. Alex
